Syd Cryptid has been immersed in art for as long as she can remember, exploring everything from drawing and painting to music and personal expression. Growing up in the Las Vegas alternative music scene, she naturally gravitated toward the world of tattooing, drawn to its deep-rooted culture and sense of community. After attending her first tattoo convention in 2014, she knew tattooing was her calling. In 2018, she took her first steps into the industry, working the front desk at a well-established local studio. Her dedication and drive led her to join the Seven team in 2020, where she put in countless hours as an assistant before earning her apprenticeship.

Syd specializes in illustrative tattoos, blending elements of the cute, the macabre, and everything in between. Working in both black and grey and color, she brings a unique touch to every piece—whether it’s a small gap-filler or an intricate backpiece. She is committed to creating tattoos that not only look incredible but also provide a meaningful and memorable experience.
